VentusAR v1.7 Released

Tonight, we released VentusAR v1.7 for iPad, Android and portal.

We recommend updating the new version of VentusAR to take advantage of the new features that have been introduced. For iPad and Android users this release includes many new features including:

  • Reference Markers: New My View alignment features
  • Wireline Visible Distance: Increased My View terrain viewing by 100% to at least 30km (based on Terrain50 Data)
  • Overlay loading Improvements: Performance and reliability increases
  • Calibration Panel Improvements: Heading, roll & inclination precision changes
  • Upgraded 3D Graphics: MonoGame 3.2 (Android only)

The portal has been updated to include the following new features:

  • Turbine Catalogue: A turbine catalogue has been created to manage 3D models and turbine types
  • Reference Markers: Reference objects are new locations to assist with in-field alignment and validation of sensors
  • Co-ordinate Management: Coordinates can now optionally be displayed in OSGB
  • Terrain Source Visibility: Altitudes now include the source of where they came from
